When Pappa Rich first opened in Grey St, opposite Hotel InterContinental, there was a queue to get in. This is always the way in Wellington and although I don’t like to wait, I love the fact that it demonstrates that Wellingtonians are curious foodies. We’re eager to test and support new venues. If you’re a Wellingtonian and you still feel a little cheated with our summer, although it’s making up for it, you won’t be cheated of your riches here. The food is fabulous and affordable. Cheap and cheerful lunches are a well-earned reward for us, post a hard hill walk on a Sunday. This time we stumbled on Singapura in Tory St, opposite Moore Wilson’s. It’s basic, clean and tidy inside. It unfortunately has had it’s fair share of not so good reviews but this doesn’t deter me. This was worth foodietraveller’s time. Continue reading
