Pappa can preach!
When Pappa Rich first opened in Grey St, opposite Hotel InterContinental, there was a queue to get in. This is always the way in Wellington and although I don’t like to wait, I love the fact that it demonstrates that Wellingtonians are curious foodies. We’re eager to test and support new venues. If you’re a Wellingtonian and you still feel a little cheated with our summer, although it’s making up for it, you won’t be cheated of your riches here. The food is fabulous and affordable. This place is one of Wellington’s iconic Malaysian restaurants on Ghuznee Street, established in 1998. You’re either a fan of KK’s (owner’s initials) or Satay Malaysia, which is just along from KK’s. I’ve always been a KK fan (but certainly not a KKK fan!). Continue reading
