Asian, Mexican, Kiwi, Vegan!

My fellow Welly instagrammers had posted a few pics of some of the delicious food being served at Willi’s Kitchen. But where the heck is this place you ask? It’s on Manners Street, just a few shops along from Bodyshop, before Pigeon park. Neatly tucked away – blink and you’d miss it. Continue reading

I’d read and heard good reviews about Comes and Goes, so being competitive as I am,  I wanted to check it out pronto. After a tough Sunday hill walk we arrived bang-on noon. We also had a great view of the busy, open kitchen. Continue reading

First stop Shanghai via business class with Air New Zealand. A sensational way to start our holiday. The food, entertainment and service was amazing. The 10 day tour was the best way to see a lot in a short time. It was very flexible and gave us independence. http://www.chinaodysseytours.com Continue reading

Cheap and cheerful Korean

ArirangArirang pork Arirang dumplings

Hubby’s favourite cuisine has always been Korean. To be honest, it’s not high on my list but it’s growing on me. I surprised him last week by saying ‘let’s go Korean for lunch’. Our date day is usually Sunday and as Arirang is closed on Sundays this was the perfect, wet Saturday spot for a cheap and cheerful lunch. Continue reading
