One night in Greytown!

I usually visit Greytown a few times a year and as soon as I arrive, I’m filled with a sense of calm. An obligatory stop was made again at 2 short whites eatery and preservatory. It’s situated in a newly developed area at 76 Main Street Greytown. The location is dangerous though, as it’s near the most gorgeous boutique Deluxe, so then suddenly my lunch becomes costly. If you ever get the chance on the West Coast of New Zealand, you must stay and eat at the award winning Te Waonui Forest Retreat. We were greeted with a traditional Maori welcome as soon as we drove up while our car was valet parked.  Continue reading

I’ve only ever had two amazing degustations in Wellington; Citron and Jano Bistro. Black Sesame Kitchen in Beijing was no exception. It was so en point. Thank you to my dear friend Tania who recommended this place.  Continue reading
