Air NZ Business class in-flight service!

I’m fortunate that I’ve experienced Air New Zealand business class so many times now. Airline of the year 2017 you can see why! It’s always, always absolutely fantastic from whoah to go, and hubby suggested I do a blog post for something different.  As the lights are dimmed, it doesn’t do my pics justice, however you’ll get the gist for sure. Set within a white Victorian villa, good ‘ole Boulcott Bistro is still alive and well and is one of Welly’s great dining institutions. The décor is stunning. We both have a soft spot for BSB as it’s always consistent with great food and service, and it’s a five star dining experience without the pricetag. As it’s on the outskirts of the CBD you tend to forget about it, however we visit at least annually and I’d love to visit more in future. Continue reading

Craving a visit to Auckland CBD, I booked a solo flight on Labour weekend. As my foodie haunts list is huge, I had to narrow it down and plan logistically, so I could fit in as much as possible. Boy did I do well. Continue reading

I think this visit to Ortega Fish Shack had to be my best meal in Wellington this year. Ok so it was our dear friend Don’s 60th, and champagne was flowing and the company was awesome but this was a Mediterranean feast. Continue reading

This has been my best trip to Hawkes Bay to date, as I got to go to six amazing new cafe/restaurant/bars. I’m combining six blog posts in one and you won’t be disappointed.

What a decadent Friday afternoon high tea we had, hosting our clients at Hippopotamus for Wellington on a Plate. Chef de patisserie, David Cadoret, personally created a fantastic selection of treats and joined with Whittakers to deliver Wellingtonians and outtatowners, a beautiful high tea brimming with chocolate concoctions.Surrounded by the backdrop of a stunning almost summer-like day with a view of our Welly harbour, amongst the elegant surroundings of the Museum Art Hotel, it was unbeaten.
